Our History
In 1966, Jon Croy and Bill McMichael started C&M Products after seeing success with their service company, where they would order parts and service broken air conditioners and refrigerators.
C&M Products turned into CMP Corporation in 1984, and over the next decade, the company focus shifted from just selling parts to manufacturing them in-house. Because of the success they saw from this change, CMP started selling internationally in the 1990s. In 2013, CMP purchased Southwest Compressor in Oklahoma City and started remanufacturing compressors in-house, which allowed the company to start offering remanufactured compressors with our OEM-quality compressor parts.
Now
Today, Jon’s son Brad has taken over as President of CMP and continues his legacy of providing high-quality parts and compressors to our worldwide clientele. We continue to expand our capabilities to ensure our inventory is always in stock, and thousands of parts ship the same day.
